Ronen Wasserman, 41, Designer and recycling artist, gives cars and motorcycles parts second chance by converting it into functional art, while keeping the highest possible standard.
With a background of a maintenance engineer in the chemical process industry, Ronen established the studio out of the passion to challenge and explore new materials and techniques that changes design myths and common thinking, in order to promote awareness for recycling and environmental needs.
During the working process, Ronen undresses the vehicle from its tin outer cover and uses it for a precise wrapping of the designed piece.
The option to cut, weld and smooth the metal- makes it easy to sculpture to the desired shape by keeping its authentic curves.
This high-end level is possible thanks to automotive painting technology.
Ronen works both in Israel and abroad and builds unique pieces for car museum, automotive companies and private collectors.
Lately, the studio work was presented in Barcelona Design Week in BDC (Barcelona Design Center) and LE FENIX galleries and got compliments for thinking out of the box and re-using parts.
